When someone tells me they are a Master Beekeeper, I don't really know what that means, because there are several "Master Beekeeper" programs in the USA that differ greatly in their rigor and requirements.


What do people on this list think a "Master Beekeeper" certificate should represent?


What Master Beekeeper certification program(s) do you admire (past or present)?


I've heard of a certification beyond Master Beekeeper that is called something like "Craftsman Beekeeper".   Why is there a level higher than "Master"?  Is there any need for it?
