Dear BEE-L subscribers,

The positive response to my offer to provide copies of a recent New
York Times article about honey was most gratifying.

Now, another extensive article of potential interest to beekeeprs
has appeared (THE VANISHING, by Sharon Levy). That 8-page article
appeared in the summer 2006 issue of ONEARTH (volume 28, number 2), a
publication of THE NATURAL RESOURCES DEFENSE COUNCIL (NRDC, for short).
The article features Jeff Anderson and his operation and dwells at
length on all the troubles faced by present-day beekeepers. Jeff was
one of the principals of the Minnesota suit about the use of Sevin.

That article will not likely be on line for quite some time (judging
from past situations). However one can order a copy of that summer
issue for $5 from NRDC: 40 West 20th St., New York, NY 10011.

    Just a thought.
