We Calif beekeepers cough up some serious money each year to fund research
that is generally of benefit to all beekeepers in the country. Since half
of all managed hives enter our state each year, and then take California
money home with them, it seems reasonable for them to share in paying for
some research.

It's not about Government taking money--its's about Calif beekeepers getting
some help in funding beekeeper-chosen research.
