I am not sure we do, exactly. In any case, I am a liberal. A true liberal hasn't got his mind made up about anything.

Agreed, but following Zayed & Harpur I think that the high rate of recombination prevents excessive inbreeding, and produces adequate variation, in the commercial population as well.
