To me the word "innocuous" means "not harmful or offensive" which I think is a fairly universal definition of the word.  I will argue the labeling does not indicate its innocuous but rather safe within acceptable measures if used as directed.

I use glyphosate on both invasive species ( direct contact mop honeysuckle removal and sprayed on crops and I use it as per directions on label and no where on the label do the makers of chemical confuse it with a substance that is innocuous to me or the environment.  I can neither drink it or bathe in it.  I know water pools and collect contaminants and that concentrations of herbicides and fungicides vary immensely regardless of how you apply them.

I'm just saying that as a farmer and beekeeper I have never considered these chemicals 100% safe and treat them as toxic.  I would NEVER use the term "innocuous" to describe them.
