I hold no beliefs--my opinions are subject to change as evidence comes in.
FWIW,  I never use any single data point as confirmation of anything.
 Confirmation of belief implies inductive reasoning, which I intentionally
attempt to avoid.  I seek to always use deductive reasoning instead
