I have been told that the small hive beetle (SHB) did a fair bit of damage this year in the USA. If it was the case, was there any particular reason for this?

Things like climate, conditions, mites?

We are still to feel the full force of SHB as yet. So far it does not seem to be a real problem but it is early days yet. Maybe the lull before the storm?

It is in our interest to learn from others who are experiencing problems.
