I had an idea the other day about this mice problem for the hives. I figured
to make the hive entry 5/16 inches and it would be too small for them to
enter. It is not . I saw a mature mouse walking out of there.
Some beekeepers  use carpet tacking strips  to keep the skunks away. I
wonder whether the same could be applied in your case .
I wonder what attracts them to your shelves . The mice building nests in the
hiveboxes sure make a mess but I never found them eating honey , did you ?
