We seem to be straying from our mandate here, but the list is slow and this topic does relate to bees in the sense (I assume) that we have all had unique one-off experiences in the bee yard.
One such event was reported here a while back by a very observant and methodical member, and immediately drew doubtful comments. I have observed and reported reported at least one mystery.
To my understanding, and although abstract theoretical science might somehow attempt to account for non-repeatable events, 'science' normally requires that phenomena be repeatable to accepted and studied.
> "God" is not something we can test, and science has nothing to say about gods, as no one has yet observed any gods.
There are many such reports, but no one (AFAIK) has been able to repeat a meeting with such an entity on demand.
Can these events be proven to the satisfaction of science? I doubt it, but can we prove they did not happen? I doubt it.
