Judy Bense,
1.
Thank you!
I've got your article, and will be reading it with interest.
"Our" site is the San Diego Presidio, dates 1769-1837; our feature is dating
circa 1780-1837, our specific trash deposits appear to be 1820-1837.
2.
"Our" items are English Staffordshire pearlware, lead glazed, sort of
"common" type items. Dates circa 1810-1885.
A superb on line resource is:

The marvelous Myrna Schkolne has made all her work available to everyone on
line. She's done a number of books (these are on line and you can get hard
copies too).
Those particularly significant to our religious items include:
Schkolne, Myrna
2006 People, Passions, Pastimes, and Pleasures: Staffordshire Figures,
1810-1885. Hot Lane Press, Winston Salem, North Carolina.
2019 Obsession: The Myrna & Benzion Schkolne Collection of Early English
Pottery, Volumes 1, 2, 3. (earlystaffordshirefigures.com;
mystaffordshirefigures.com)
Another excellent bocage figurine resource is:
Halfpenny, Pat
1991 English Earthenware Figures 1740-1840. Antique Collector’s Club,
Suffolk, England.
3.
To see a somewhat similar Saint John to here at San Diego Presidio:

To see a similar Saint Peter:

"Our" items differ in details.
"Our" fragments are really crappy looking due to their condition.
4.
My husband Stephen Van Wormer has just sent you an email.
He's glanced through your item and wanted me to tell you that we also have
Brunido / Tonola figurine fragments - mostly animal limbs he says.
Again, thank you for the posting, the manuscript, and THANK YOU to HISTARCH.
5. We are interested in anything you may subsequently come up with.

Feel free to contact me!
BUT, take your time, we're off grid, leaving today and will return May 24.
We can wrestle with sending photos of "our" items sometime after that, if
you are interested.

Subject: uploaded ceramic figurine paper
I have just uploaded to Academia.edu a copy of my manuscript ,"Ceramic
Figurines in Spanish West Florida Presidios," recently submitted to the
journal Historical Archaeology. It has details, tables, and figures that
describe our current state of knowledge of the unusual ceramic figurines
found at two Spanish West Florida presidio locations (1723-1763) and Mission
San Luis (1657-1704).
If interested, please read. If you have knowledge of any Spanish colonial
figurines elsewhere, please let me know.
Thanks
