Maybe we need to be making videos on Tik Tok with actual information and

It is depressing, Julie, and colleagues fall prey to this as well. Something of a side note: several years ago, Abbott Labs ran a diabolically clever commercial about formula feeding parents and breastfeeding. It won a Clio award (the Oscar of the advertising world). It was appalling to see how many healthcare people I worked with, including IBCLCs, fell for that commercial and thought it was touching. They missed the subtle degradation of the nursing moms and the "alpha" nature of the sophisticated formula feeders." Here is a link to YouTube, in case anyone wants to be depressed today: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JUbGHeZCxe4e Mother ‘Hood
Our work will never be done. The Politics of Breastfeeding: When Breastfeeding is Bad for Business (Gabrielle Palmer) is truer today than ever before.
