Allen, your choice to post or not, feel free to forward it directly if you like,
>If I understand you correctly, you fed terramycin not for disease control but to "wipe out" gut microbiota, in order to treat them >with probiotics in order to remedy the effect of the TM? Whose idea was this?
The above was the original post, its interesting phrasing. Its not really a question, more of a statement. Passive/aggressive question at best. The clear implication given the recent conversation on skirting the labels was that "I" (as noted by the use of word "you") used Terra pro off label.
There is no real question or interrogatory about underlying causes or reason, nor any reference to the results, just a thinly veiled commentary. This is not the first time since I came back.
If there are some "Marcus of Queensbury" rules of written communication then I am horrible at them, I am much more of a "Roberts rules for Rangers" person. As I have many other things going on at any given time, I simple do not have time to figure out if I phrased things to accommodate all possible sensitivities. I am 100% not politically correct.
My apologies, I do not spend time trying to figure out to indirect or elusive. I call them straight out. If we are to debate and discuss, then lets do it. No thin skin allowed, There was no name calling, no spurious accusations, just a simple defense.
Allen, Like his predecessor, has a difficult job. Some members want more moderation, some less, some seem to want to be able to say what they please, but then not allow others to reply. There is no easy answer but I for one 100% support his efforts, even when it hits me. Our choice is simple, if we don't like his efforts we are free to not participate.
I suspect Allen was an excellent choice, and appreciate the difficult line he walks with some of the difficult task.
Charles
