Ok so there are residues from the treatment of the beans, I'm assuming
since they could detect the difference between organic and conventional
also that they can find residue of other chems on the conventional as well.
I'm not sure that means a whole lot unless it can be demonstrated that
those residues at that level actually do harm. I haven't seen any, but
then again I'm not looking either. We can easily detect differences in
honeys (ok nonultrafiltered honey) from region to region. That doesn't
make any of them innately unsafe.
