I actually prefer these Scarlatti works played on the Harpsichord which is the 'authentic' performance anyway. The same goes for works by Rameau etc. But I was wondering also about the Bach keyboard works on (you've guessed it) Brilliant. A lot of these seem to be on harpsichord or cembala. Yet most of the performances one usually comes across have these works played on a piano. Do Bach experts have any views on this? Bob Draper [log in to unmask]
