Kathy, thanks, this is helpful. However, the *easiest* and *fastest* way to
follow a thread is if everyone would use their "reply" button, which
automatically inserts the *same* words into the subject, making it
unnecessary for others to search the archives, at least for the recent
posts. Of the 100 or so lists that my husband and I subscribe to, this is
the *only* list where people don't use a consistent word/phrase for the
same topic. Having the same topic also helps readers to quickly see what
the most "hot" topic is.
