Sorry, I'm a few days late. Don't know about this drug, but would ask the
dr. these important questions:
1. Is this the only drug that will treat the illness?
2. Is there a safe(r) alternative med available to treat it?
3. Is there a drug that can be given IM or IV that is not absorbed orally?
4. If it is absolutely necessary that she take THIS drug, and also true that
it is contraindicated while bf, can the mother token bf (i.e. bf few times
per day? bf on "dry" breast? pump and dump then bf w/ an alternate such as
donor milk or formula via nursing supplementer at breast?
