I'm no rocket scientist but I had already completed the form and mailed
it back this morning .... before I downloaded Lactnet and read that some
people are having a problem with it. My advice is to take a deep breath
and read the instructions carefully. I'll admit I was baffled in the
beginning.

The major stumbling block for me was my personal IBLCE ID number. I
looked through everything I had that was IBLCE-related. Hint: if you
have the same problem, it's on the back of your certificate. Duh.

I enjoyed filling it out because it made me think about how my practice
has changed in the past 10 years and how much I've learned in that time
from clinical practice experience vs. independent study vs. formal
instruction settings.

I'm looking forward to reading the results. It's important to our
profession for this information to be collected and analyzed.
