I, too, came upon this at Best Buy last year and, you are right, the PILZ
CD's were 99 cents each! There were some real gems among them. Most were
Eastern European recordings, which were very good and certainly well worth
the price, and there were some exceptional finds, such as:

Dubravka Tomsic's excellent recordings of Scarlatti Sonatas, Bach's
Italian Concertos, Beethoven Sonatas and Schumann Concerto.

Christiane Jaccottet's complete Bach's Well Tempered Clavier on 4 Cd's.

Lalo's Symphony Espagnole with Ruggiero Ricci

Horenstein's recording of Stravinsky's Firebird (probably from the
early Vox recording and the only CD issue that I know of).

Many works with excellent artists such as Conductors Kurt Redel, Robert
Wagner, Anton Nanut, Alberto Lizzio; Pianists Schmalfuss, Lapansky,
Steurer; and violinist Spitkova, and many more.
