Thanks Nikki! It is nice to know that you could put your finger right on the reference! I have seen one mom who, on her second bout of mastitis by 3 weeks PP, had only the anemia as a problem. Her HCP responded to the information re: anemia and we worked on increasing the iron in her diet. Within a short time she responded and is nursing a healthy happy 14 month old today!
