Then (if you succeeded) you'd have to air out the hive for quite a while, and you still might have trouble inducing bees to live in that foul odor. I used sulfur in a bee smoker once to kill a bad hive. It worked, but it ruined the smoker. I never could get the smell out of it. Why not a shop vac?
