Hi All, > After reflecting on the over the top comments of Jill Burchill, I think >she helped us out. Someone that negative and basically anti-mother siding >with the formula people?? Heck, if I were a formula rep., I'd be cringing >at that! Jill Burchill was profiled on a BBC documentary recently. I didn't see it, but my mother did, and she was refered to as "one of the most unpopular women in Britain". She has made her career writing offensive, "controversial" articles which newspapers like to encourage interest in their letters pages (just think, how many of you Brits will have bought the Guardian this week to see if it really was as bad as you'd heard?). She is not only anti-mother, she freely admits to disliking children intensely and is "child free" by choice. My mother says she was running down fellow feminists the other week, in an equally offensive way. She was apparently as ignorant of feminism as she is of breastfeeding. Just MHO. -- Anna H.
