I'd add Boyd Neel to the above list for his London recordings of the Opus 6 concerti grossi that appeared in the early 50s. Berkshire has a 2-CD set of BN conducting them on Pearl (CDS 9164) but doesn't specify which performances they are. I have a CD version of his performing those symphonies from an earlier period and unlike the later ones, they shmalzed up to the point of embarrassment. I have no way of determining which recordings Berkshire was now making available. Based upon past experience, I don't expect much help from the person taking the order over the telephone. Anybody out there know, maybe? Walter Meyer
