IMHO, the best Mozart conductors are: Beecham, Gardiner, Harnoncourt,
Bohm, Klemperer, Leppard, Vegh, and Davis.  Some of them are "heavy",
others "light." The common thread I find is that they all share, as far
as I can tell, my perception of Mozart's musical personality.  Actually,
Harnoncourt does miss some of the elegance of Mozart's music, but I love
his "rough and ready" emphasis.
