I wonder if anyone else has thoughts on this great artist. I am delighted to read of someone else who has heard Thomas Quasthoff. I heard him sing in the St Matthew's passion a while ago. I respect him for his voice and also his attention to detail. His stage presence is also to be complimented, he demonstrates a genuine warmth when performing - some soloists tend to be self-absorbed and detached from the listeners. thanks Philippa Greenwood
