I was in my car last Thursday and turned on the radio. I heard the end of a discussion on NPR about whether the government should invest in private stocks for social security. Whoever was being interviewed said something like, "If the government does this, there will be many issues to deal with, such as whether to invest in companies that produce things like cigarettes and baby formula." Did anyone else hear this? Do you know who it was being interviewed? I was pleased to hear ABM categorized with cigarettes as being something the government might not want to put funds into.
