I seem to recall that the first time I heard this group in concert (over the radio, but live), they performed a quartet by Lyatoshinsky (a much more wild, less controlled work than the symphonies that have served to get this composer labelled "tame" by such an "expert" as Kyle Gann of the Village Voice). I hope that they still program such repertoire, and not just Borodin, Shostakovich, and Schubert, nowadays. Eric Schissel [log in to unmask] http://www.lightlink.com/schissel ICQ#7279016
