Regarding pianists who have not yet made this list, I'd like to add
Samuel (or Samuil) Feinberg, a Russian who preferred Bach to the stormy
romantic repertoire. There is a Well-tempered Clavier, a Schumann Album,
a Bach-Mozart album and a Scriabin album. All are worth checking out, and
I keep hoping for more.

Also, has anyone any news of an expatriate Russian named Yevgenii Koroliov,
whose Art of Fugue and Schubert Sonata D 960 are really remarkable?
