interesting to read of the great success of the Cape Honey Bee in European
Countries. Nevertheless I do not understand the trouble about that fact, because
breeding Capensis for more than 20 years at european institutes with free-flying
cape colonies did not cause any negative effects on the bee population in the
surroundings.
 
I believe that A. m. capensis will play an important part in beekeeping of the
future.
