My response to the posting on the study that showed that SIgA went down after exercise was "so what?" Is this really going to make such a huge difference to the baby? This "just don't nurse for xxx minutes/hours/days" for casual reasons makes me crazy and must be advocated by people who've never breastfed. I can't imagine trying to put off a baby who needed to nurse just because the SIgA content might be lower than usual! I guess I join Anne with being cranky about stuff like this.
