All, As I understand it, messages posted to BEE-L by non-subscribers get sent to the moderator for review/approval before posting. Subscribers to the list do not get moderated - those messages get forwarded directly to the entire list by the server. The trick is getting the listserver to "recognize" you. If there is ANY difference between the e-mail address you are "currently" sending from and the e-mail address you used when you subscribed, then the listserver won't recognize you, and you get treated like an outsider, i.e. your message goes to the moderator. Sometimes changes implemented by your ISP will modify your e-mail address slightly as it appears in the headers of your mail messages - this confuses many folks as these changes can be subtle, and the ISP usually "forwards" mail from the old version of your address to the new version, keeping the change transparent to all but the most astute observers. Of course, the List Server, being a computer, is very picky about these types of details, and refuses to match your new address to your old one (they ARE different, after all!) The result is that you suddenly appear to be a non-subscriber, as you are mailing from a new address (thanks to your ISP). Ideally, you can unsubscribe from BEE-L before the address change happens, and then resubscribe after the change. Unfortunately, we usually get surprised by these things, and then the only resolution (list owners please correct me if I mis-speak here....) is to resubscribe to BEE-L from your new address, and ask a listowner to manually remove your old address. This might take a while depending on how busy the owners are. You will probably get duplicate messages for a while until the owners clean things up for you (if you would rather miss a few messages instead of getting duplicates, ask the owners to unsubscribe you, and then resubscribe when you stop getting BEE-L messages....) The best way to contact the list owners is to send a message to [log in to unmask] (don't send to BEE-L itself - everyone doesn't need to know about your address challenges!) Hope this helps folks.
