This is from AOL this morning. The long and short of it is, that AOLers should NOT having their RTF (Rich text format) switch on. Keep things clear and plain when sending notes to Lactnet. If you see one that bugs you, talk to the SENDER of the message. Thanks. Kathleen "The colored backgrounds are Rich Text Fromat (RTF) messages. This is a capability which was incorporated into AOL's mail tool in the recent past. The email author can select various attributes such as text color, background color, italics, bolding, underlining and font size for messages. If the receiving mail client is RTF capable, they see the message in the original RTF format with the attributes as set by the author (like pink background for example)." Kathleen B.
