Dear Emily Post, I need your advice. I am a busy lactation consultant who often makes housecalls. My well meaning clients always offer me an astounding assortment of chocolates, cakes, pastries and other goodies, compliments of family and friends. Where I usually accept something to drink, I cannot possibly stuff myself with sweets all day! It's a real problem with certain ethnic groups who either insist (literally put the food in my hands) or sulk at my rejection of their hospitality. Help! Sincerely, I.B.C.L.C Its Becoming a Calorie Ladden Career
