PNS' true acronym should be PIS, to stand for Pump In Style, Medela's double pump that comes in a black bag. If it had been up to me, I would have tried a little harder to come up with a different name, having a nicer acronym. I think that using PNS was as close as they could come to controlling the damage after that name was already printed up on everything. Just a guess. ABM stands for Artificial Baby Milk, I think. The more controversial acronym for the same product (formula) is SIN, which stands for Synthetic Infant Nutrition (?). I get a kick out of that one but I guess it really is a little bit over-the-top.
