I managed to decode and compress the files in question to 9K and 5K by
making them into .txt and .gif format.
 
They can be had by sending a blank email message to me at
[log in to unmask] (DO NOT SEND IT TO THE LIST please)
saying:
SEND MINERAL
in the SUBJECT line.
