I was going to reply privately to Chris' post in response to my post about Tom Hale's book, but since there have been ramifications, I will post. Perhaps I made a mistake in my writing (not unusual--I'm quite lazy when I'm home), but the person who refused to take Tom Hale's book seriously is *not* a MD, but a lawyer. I had mentioned in parens that her brother is a MD. The underlying implication, and I know from lurking that many on this list have enountered this, is it appears that many parents, etc. refuse to believe sources if they aren't written by MD or distributed by one. This was my first experience with this, and given that I was pointing out info. from a brand-new printed source, I was rather taken aback. Thus, the main point of my post was to express frustration, not to attack MDs. Melissa Kirsch, J.D., LLLL
