A recent posting mentioned that inverted nipples are due to adhesions. While I am aware that the is the usual thinking, I wish people would comment on if this is REALLY the case. How and why would adhesions develop in the breast? and at a rate of about 10%? My knowledge of adhesions deal with regrowth of tissue following an incision, but how does this relate to untouched breasts? Is this, again, some myth which needs some clarification?
