GD>I was touring Arizona about 6 weeks ago. We visited the Desert Museum
  >outside Tuscon.
  >Interestingly, the museum is in an isolated part of the desert and

Last time I was there they had their own hive, and sold local honey in
the gift shop, but the hive may have been in the way of one of the new
exhibits. I believe it was in the middle of the turtle run towards the
back.

In any case take my word for it there many hives within the flight range
of the Desert Museum if not right down the road just off the main road
back in the brush out of sight and harms way.
