For the person with inverted nipples wanting correction who is non-pregnant, she might try the NIpplette by Avent company. I haven't used it but have seen it used. The company advertises it directly to the consumer. It's quite pricey and I'm a little nervous about it being available OTC (problems with using in pregnancy?) BUT it is probably a lot cheaper than surgery. Maybe more successful and definitely preferably to letting a knife near a breast! It's a version of the reversed syringe technique or the commercial Evert-It, but is designed to cause continuous suction to the nipple. And if it works, it would sure make those few women with true inverted nipples happy, I bet.! Jane Kershaw [log in to unmask]
