I recently encountered some information that suggests the information I
have may be outdated. I would appreciate hearing from the wise voices on
LACTNET.
For a mom returning to work, I have always suggested bottles not be
introduced until 4-6 weeks. Currently I am hearing that the ease of
transition to a bottle is simplified when introduced at 3-4 weeks and
that at this stage it will not cause "nipple confusion". I have noticed
that waiting 6-8 weeks some moms have great difficulty getting the baby
to accept a bottle. Does anyone have an opinion here? (HA :) )
TIA,
Ilene, LLLL
