Jack, it is the fundamental understanding of this point that converts
HCProfessionals into breastfeeding advocates.  It is the difference between
those who go the extra mile as opposed to simply being 'in support' of
breastfeeding.  Unfortunately not even all LCs seem to have this passionate
belief.  It underlies the discussions of guilt, casual weaning, and
management of sick moms and babes.  It can also be the most difficult point
about which to convince first world professionals. <sigh>  I think it is why
we fight the long hard battle, and why I firmly believe we will, over the
long term, win.
