Dani: i have been using homeopathy with my lactation clients for almost my entire career. If you want to correspond, please do so. I would be interested in talking to anyone who is interested in incorporating homeopathic suggestions to mothers into their lactation practice. I have never had a baby have an ill effect from the mother taking a remedy. If anything, as you know, a healing can be provoked if the remedy is indicated for the baby too even if the mother was the only one to take the remedy, but if the remedy is not indicated for the baby, the baby will not respond. i have not used potencies hiher than 200c, however. My hoeopathic physician, who I refer my clients to if they need consitutional care, has used very high potencies with no ill effects on teh babies. It is my experience that the lower potencies work very well for the mother. I also recommend hoeopathic remedies for nursing strikes, teething, gastrointestinal problems, as in colic, etc. for the babies. this approach has worked well for most of the babies. naturally, I do not make homeopathic recommendations or suggestions to a family who doesn't want to use homeopathy, but nowadays, homeopathic remedies are widely sought out, and most of my clients have taken them in the past or are willing to try them.
