1997 Archaeological Fieldwork Opportunities Bulletin Available Now The Archaeological Institute of America (AIA) is pleased to announce the publication of the 1997 edition of the Archaeological Fieldwork Opportunities Bulletin (AFOB), a comprehensive guide to excavations, field schools, and special programs with openings for volunteers, students, and staff throughout the world. It is available every year on January 1 and may be back-ordered now. The 1997 AFOB is the biggest edition ever with over 300 opportunities listed.
