I am a relatively recently qualified LC, and am about to start work with my
local WIC department, promoting breastfeeding. Among other duties, I am to
teach the pre-natal infant nutrition class. This sounded wonderful, until I was
handed an outline lesson plan. It begins with instruction on how to
breastfeed, and then continues with instruction on how to feed infant formula.
Oh dear! I don't intend to present these as equivalent options! Any
suggestions on how I should handle this would be appreciated. The powers that
be have listened receptively to the suggestions I have put forward on other
issues, so far.

Thanks.
