The answer lies in the original premise, "...used for treating ticks and fleas
on animals."  Mites are not ticks nor fleas, nor are bees your usual
-barnyard- animals.   Therefore, there is no rate of application, nor is the
formulation to be applied to beehives at all.  As has already been suggested,
to do otherwise is to look for trouble, when we have trouble enough as it is.
