My experience in Puerto Rico is mostly Breast reduction rather than breast
augmentation - often done in their teens when breastfeeding was not considered.
One of the plastic surgeons has been telling his patients that they can
breastfeed for a week or so, but not to continue or it will ruin the surgery!
(Why not tell her not to get pregnant - the engorgement following delivery would
surely be the biggest problem, don't you think?)

Pat is right - these women have a great deal of emotional issues related to
their breasts - and in the case of many of the reductions I have seen, are very
self-conscious about their scars, etc. We need to tred carefully as they're
also in very erratic emotional turmoil (as we usually are postpartum) and then
trying to deal with these other concerns.
