Pamela and netters,
Thank you for taking the time to compile the posts aboutbrick dust urine
and writing up a sample protocol.
  1) Where is the formula you listed for amounts to feed the baby from? The
formula I use is based on the baby's weight, so I'm curious about yours based
on dayof age
   2) You ask if some other sort of fluid should be used because of
thedehydration, suggesting glucose water or boiled water. I believe that a
baby deprived of fluids is deprived of calories as well. Glucose water has 5
or 10 calories/oz (glucose 5% or glucose 10%), and plain water of course has
none. Giving the baby some calories, i.e. throuygh EBM or ABM (sigh) may
give the little one the energy required to become a better breastfeeder
I look forward to the other responses!
