I don't remember if I posted this before I left for vacation and conference, so I'm putting it in--- please forgive me if it is a replay. There have been some recent developments regarding information and positions on the Growing Families curriculums. I have been sending by private email some documents that I have on hand, and there is now a new one out that will be very important for some people. The county of Orange in California received enough inquiries about these programs in conjunction with child abuse concerns that they put together a task force to assess the curriculums. They did both a detailed critique of each curriculum, childbirth through the teenage years, and then compared them to other "religious" parenting curriculums in a two page summary chart. This document has been reproduced and posted on the following website, and can be downloaded for viewing and printing with Adobe Acrobat software: http://www.fix.net./~rprewett . On this site you will also find other articles on Ezzo materials as well as on parenting in general, and links to other sites for more information as you desire. Again, I am happy to help anyone out with more information as well. Lisa Marasco, LLLL, IBCLC [log in to unmask]
