Hi/Goodbye,

Thunderstorms continue, but flight is delayed, so few more minutes on
lactnet.
When I directed the Chicago Milk Bank, there were occasional babies that were
intolerable of ABM and when supplies at the bank were low, they would go to
dairy farmers for goats milk. It was sorta neat because I ended up getting
interviewed by NBC TV with one of the moms as being "very desperate" for
human milk. That also was the exciting time when I got to breastfeed my baby
(now 11yrs) on TV news. I did research goats milk and the fresh milk on the
shelves at grocery were very high in sodium and low on some of the vit. I
found out asses (donkey) was closest to human milk. The goats milk (fresh)
was all some babies could tolerate. I also was aware that vit. B6 was low
and niacin. There was something one particular mother did to add B etc. to
the milk. It was quite an experience. Have a good week all!!!

FYI--Medela now has a WWW.Medela.com --home page.
Good-bye once again.
