Hello all,

I have re-subscribed to lactnet after a long break as I missed all the
great info so much. A quick re-intro my name is Judy Smith I have been a
LLL leader for 4 years in Sturgis Michigan I have 3 children ages 9, 6,
and 2. I do have a couple of questions I hope you can help me with. I
have been working with 2 moms with problems that I'm not sure I have the
answers to.

Mom #1 has had chronic thrush problems for the last 6 months baby is now
11 months old, she has painful cracked nipples and ductal pain, she has
tried many with now success(although I'm not sure of all the medications
she has been on, I know it was alot)

Mom #2 has been diagnosed with Epstien Barr sydrome, she is nursing a 14
month old she would like to wean but she wonders if the breastmilk is
protective to the baby aganist this illness and will she put him at risk
if she weans?

Thank you for any insight you may have and please forgive me as I'm sure
many of this has been covered before on this list :)
