Thanks to KB (co-mother) for alerting you all that I was having fits with my server and unable to get on and read messages or respond to same or even send any! I am now back--at least part of the time (some problems still occur, but they are sporadic and random, so I never know from one day to the next whether I will have access. While things are working ok, I want to respond to several of you who have tried to reach me re: the announcement of an open position for Editor-in-Chief of JHL. In response to questions, a) I have not died b) I have not resigned c) I have not retired d) I have not been fired e) The job description is sparse at best and inaccurate as well. For example, what in the word is an IBCLC member? I have a PhD, too, but am no more a PhD member than an IBCLC member. If anyone out there knows how one becomes an IBCLC member, please let me know. f) If you are interested in applying for the job and wish an accurate description of the work involved, feel free to contact me privately by email or by snail mail or fax and I will be happy to share with you. g) Yes, I will be at the ILCA Conference. PS Many thanks to Anne Altschuler for her touching note. I shall treasure it. Always...
